SUMMARY

POSITION INFO

Purpose of the Role To coordinate and administer the company's training and development activities, ensuring employees receive the necessary training to support business objectives while maintaining compliance with Skills Development and legislative requirements. Key Responsibilities Coordinate internal and external training interventions Identify training needs in consultation with management Maintain the annual Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) Liaise with relevant SETAs and external training providers Schedule training programmes and manage training logistics Maintain accurate employee training records and training matrices Monitor mandatory and statutory training compliance Track training attendance, competency assessments and completion records Assist with skills development initiatives and learnership programmes Support performance development through training initiatives Prepare monthly training reports and training statistics Assist with induction programmes for new employees Manage the departmental training budget and process related invoices where applicable Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and labour legislation relating to training Minimum Requirements National Diploma in Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Industrial Psychology or a related field 3–5 years' experience in Training & Development within a manufacturing environment Experience working with SETAs, WSP and ATR submissions Sound knowledge of the Skills Development Act and related legislation Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience maintaining training records and training matrices Excellent planning, administration and communication skills Advantageous Experience within the automotive manufacturing industry Experience with learnerships, apprenticeships and bursary programmes Knowledge of ISO/ IATF training requirements Competencies Excellent organisational skills Strong attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Planning and coordination ability Ability to work independently Strong administrative capability Confidentiality and professionalism Problem-solving ability
