SAP Case Management ABAP Developer - Principal

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Case Management ABAP Developer (Principal) to join a high-profile enterprise project based in Cape Town. This is an exciting contract opportunity for a highly skilled SAP professional with extensive ABAP development experience and expertise in SAP Case Management.   • Analyse business requirements and provide technical SAP solutions.
  • Design, develop and maintain Object-Oriented ABAP applications.
  • Develop enhancements, interfaces, reports and custom SAP solutions.
  • Perform testing, debugging and optimisation of SAP applications.
  • Develop and maintain OData Services for SAP UI5/Fiori applications.
  • Design and develop Core Data Services (CDS) Views and AMDP.
  • Develop integrations using Web Services, REST, JSON, RFC and IDOCs.
  • Implement SAP enhancement techniques including BAPI, BADI, BTE and User Exits.
  • Develop Smart Forms, Adobe Forms and Mail Forms.
  • Support SAP Workflow development and database update programming.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver quality solutions.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years' SAP Development experience.
  • SAP ABAP Developer Certification (proof required).
  • Extensive experience with SAP Case Management and SAP ECC.
  • Strong experience in SAP software architecture, design and development.

Advantageous

  • Relevant IT Degree or Diploma.
  • SAP S/4HANA experience.
  • CDS Views and AMDP development.
  • SAP Workflow.
  • SAP UI5/Fiori development.
  • Experience with Web Services, OData, REST, JSON, RFC and IDOCs.
  • Knowledge of SAP Enhancement Framework.
  • Experience within a Local Government environment.
  • Candidates residing in Cape Town will be advantageous.
