Position Details

Job Title: Land/Survey Technician

Grade: E

Responsible To: Senior Technical Officer / Relevant Supervisor

Job Summary

The Land/Survey Technician is responsible for providing technical surveying support for Ministry projects, including land measurements, preparation of survey information, and assisting with development and construction projects.

Key Duties

Conduct land surveys and site measurements.
Assist in preparation of survey drawings and technical plans.
Collect and record field survey data.
Assist with verification of boundaries and site conditions.
Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper usage.
Prepare technical reports and documentation.
Provide technical support for construction and infrastructure projects.
Assist professional officers with survey-related activities.

Qualifications

Diploma in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.

Experience

Relevant experience in land surveying or related technical work.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of surveying principles and techniques.
Ability to use surveying equipment.
Technical drawing skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Computer literacy.
Ability to work in the field.
