Position Details
Job Title: Instructor – Welding
Grade: E
Number of Positions: One (1)
Responsible To: Director TTI
Location: Thaba Tseka Technical Training Institute (TTI)
Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director TTI, the incumbent is responsible for providing practical and theoretical instruction in welding, assessing trainees, and ensuring that training programmes are delivered in accordance with the Technical Training Institute curriculum.
Key Duties
- Conduct practical and theoretical welding instruction.
- Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Assess and evaluate trainees’ performance.
- Maintain workshop equipment and ensure safety standards are observed.
- Supervise trainees during practical sessions.
- Maintain training records and prepare reports.
- Participate in curriculum implementation and development.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Welding or a related technical field as prescribed by the Ministry.
