We are seeking a qualified and experienced Welder to join our team for project-based work within the mining, construction industries on a temporary basis. The successful candidate must be competent in performing high-quality welding in accordance with industry standards while maintaining strict compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform welding on structural steel, piping, and mechanical components in accordance with approved procedures.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Carry out repairs and modifications where required.
Ensure all welding equipment is maintained and used safely.
Comply with company, client, and legal SHEQ requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Complete all required documentation accurately and timeously

Minimum Requirements

ISO 9606 Welding Certification (Essential – certification must be submitted as proof).
Minimum 3 years' proven welding experience
Proficient in a variety of welding processes (MMA/SMAW, MIG, TIG, FCAW as applicable).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of welding codes, standards, and quality requirements.
Good understanding of SHEQ policies and safe work practices.
Medically fit to work on industrial sites.
