POSITION INFO

Company and Job Description: A well-established company within the property sector is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable professional to support its Treasury function. Reporting to the Treasury Manager , this role is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting the wider finance team. Key Responsibilities: Manage and review the full accounts payable function. Process and review municipal invoices, utility expenses, and related reconciliations. Analyse monthly utility variances and provide reports to the Operations team. Liaise with municipalities and third-party service providers regarding billing queries and discrepancies. Review supplier invoices and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements. Review cashbook reconciliations and reconcile transactions to the General Ledger. Verify invoice batches and ensure accurate processing within MDA/Broll Online. Review payment schedules, cash flow forecasts, and online banking payment batches. Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve outstanding queries. Prepare journals, accruals, provisions, and month-end accounts payable reconciliations. Process local, private portfolio, UK, and international payments. Review purchase orders, expense batches, bank upload files, and credit card reconciliations. Assist with audit preparation and maintain accurate financial records. Manage petty cash and assist with ad hoc finance and accounting responsibilities. Provide support to the finance team during periods of leave. Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed Diploma or Bcom in Finance Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role Sound understanding of the accounting process through to Trial Balance Excellent analytical and numerical skills Advanced MS Office proficiency Experience with MDA/Broll Online will be advantageous Apply now!
