Electronic Application Engineer vacancy in Paarl, Cape Town. MEng or BEng in Electronic Engineering with 4-10 years’ experience is required. The purpose of this role includes Product development, design, testing, and production; managing project scope before, during, and after delivery; and supporting existing products and clients.

Minimum requirements
- MEng or BEng in Electronic Engineering
- 4-10 years’ experience
- Any related hands-on experience in electronic design.
- Proto-typing, hardware verification, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
- Working knowledge of Altium Designer or similar CAD package.
- Proficient with MCU firmware development in C and C++, as well as GitLab for version control.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Implementing the electronic hardware design and development of modules.
- Capture requirements.
- Develop/Synthesize and propose solutions.
- Source components and develop prototypes.
- Industrialize/Commercialize designs for high volume production.
- Ensure designs are qualified and validated.
- Drafting test specifications.
- Documenting test results.
- Product life cycle support.
- Provide support to clients and manage the product supply chain.
