The Role

Administrative assistant, preferably with marine or automotive experience is required to be responsible for the client’s retail storefront, handle inventory control, and support daily financial administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Admin & Finance: Daily cash-ups, account reconciliations (cash, EFT, credit cards, creditors), supervising new stock and engine warranty capturing.
  • Answer phones, handle emails, and manage filing.
  • Stock Control: Receive, price, and pack stock. Process supplier credits and orders.
  • Customer Service: Assist walk-in customers with sales ,spares and maintain a clean, organized shop floor and stock room.
  • Invoice Job Cards & Counter Sales
  • Assist in management of upholstery department.

Skills and Experience

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matriculation
  • Experience in retail, stock control, and junior bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and numerical accuracy.
  • Driver’s License.
  • Will be required to work certain Saturdays.
  • English / Afrikaans.
