POSITION INFO

Minimum Qualifications: B- Degree in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 7) Registration as a professional engineer or Technologist (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa. Registration as a Pr CPM or PMP an added advantage Minimum Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in the Infrastructure Environment, inclusive of 3 years Project Management Experience Experience in water infrastructure environment, will be an added advantage Key Outputs: Reporting to the Senior Manager Project Management Unit, the employee will: Define project management framework Ensure development the Project Lifecycle Establish clear project governance roles Ensure Project Planning Ensure that project needs are aligned to the Infrastructure Development Plan Monitor GIS inputs for all feasibility studies Ensure Monitoring of project implementation Ensure that construction is in line with the initial goal of the project Ensure a quality control plan is developed Ensure Project Control Ensure management of professional service providers Ensure the preparation of regular progress reports for the CE and Department of Water and Sanitation Key Competencies: Knowledge of OHS Act Knowledge of Environmental Act Contract Management Standards: GCC 2000 Knowledge of Supply Chain Management Processes Knowledge of PFMA Good overall knowledge of the water industry Computer Literacy Valid unendorsed driver's license Employment Equity Target: Preference will be given to females
