About The Role

As we prepare to open the doors to Le Parc by tashas in Mouille Point, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Retail Manager to lead our beautifully curated retail emporium.

More than a retail space, our emporium is an extension of the Le Parc experience—offering guests thoughtfully selected products that celebrate quality, craftsmanship and everyday living. As Retail Manager, you will create an inviting shopping environment, inspire meaningful customer interactions and ensure the retail space reflects the same attention to detail and hospitality found throughout the restaurant.

Working closely with the restaurant leadership team, you will also support Front of House operations during quieter trading periods, helping to deliver the seamless guest experience that defines Le Parc by tashas.

Your Mission

You will lead the retail operation by creating an engaging shopping experience while ensuring operational excellence, strong commercial performance and exceptional customer service.

Through thoughtful merchandising, effective stock management and genuine hospitality, you will help make the emporium an integral part of the Le Parc experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Retail Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the retail emporium, ensuring it is beautifully presented and fully operational.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, daily trading activities and operational readiness.
  • Deliver a welcoming and personalised shopping experience for every guest.
  • Drive retail sales through product knowledge, thoughtful recommendations and exceptional service.
  • Ensure displays are visually appealing, well-stocked and aligned with the Le Parc brand aesthetic.
  • Monitor pricing, labelling and promotional displays to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Stock Management & Commercial Performance

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimising waste and overstocking.
  • Receive, inspect and accurately record incoming deliveries.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies where required.
  • Monitor product quality, expiry dates and stock presentation.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, product availability and stock-related matters.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product offerings, retail performance and customer engagement.

Guest Experience

  • Create memorable retail experiences through genuine hospitality and personalised service.
  • Build relationships with guests by understanding their preferences and confidently recommending products.
  • Ensure every interaction reflects the warmth, quality and attention to detail associated with Le Parc by tashas.
  • Support the wider restaurant team during busy service periods to ensure a seamless overall guest experience.

Front of House Support

  • Assist the restaurant leadership team as a Floor Manager during quieter retail trading periods.
  • Support daily Front of House operations to maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with restaurant managers and service teams to ensure smooth operations across the venue.
  • Lead by example in creating a positive, professional and guest-focused environment.

Teamwork & Culture

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism and genuine hospitality.
  • Support and develop team members through coaching, encouragement and leading by example.
  • Build strong relationships across both retail and restaurant teams.
  • Embody the values and culture of the Tashas Group in every interaction.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure the retail space maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation.
  • Adhere to company policies, operational procedures and health and safety requirements.
  • Manage cash handling, POS transactions and daily reconciliations accurately.
  • Maintain accurate retail records and operational reporting.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in retail management, hospitality leadership or a premium customer-facing environment.
  • A genuine passion for retail, hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Experience with stock management, merchandising, cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and manage inventory effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidence leading teams and supporting operational excellence.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail reporting systems.
