SUMMARY

Job Description: Perform maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on mechanical equipment and machinery Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to minimise downtime Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems Manufacture, fit, and assemble mechanical components to specification Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as a qualified Fitter & Turner Strong experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Experience working in a manufacturing, mining, or heavy industrial environment Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Good problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Qualification: Trade Test (Fitter & Turner) Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
