Receptionist: Ref: RCPT
The Receptionist is responsible for managing the arrival of all visitors to the Bank, coordinating internal and external communications, and providing exceptional administrative support while upholding the Bank’s prestigious public image. The role requires a polished and security-conscious professional serving as the primary ambassador for the Bank, managing a high-volume visitor reception in line with security access protocols, and handling multi-line communications with absolute discretion.
Areas Of Responsibility
- Visitor Management: Greeting and directing visitors, consultants, and stakeholders professionally, while maintaining a digital or manual visitor log and liaising with protection services for the issuance of security passes.
- Facility Oversight: Ensuring the reception area and common meeting spaces remain professional and organized at all times.
- Communication Hub: Managing a multi-line switchboard, screening and routing calls effectively, and handling general email inquiries with high accuracy.
- Administrative Support: Assisting with booking meeting rooms for division meetings and project kick-off meetings.
- Logistics Coordination: Managing the receipt and dispatch of couriers, maintaining office supply inventory, and coordinating internal mail distribution.
- Events Arrangements: Assisting in the provision of protocol services and official events management.

Minimum Qualifications
All candidates wishing to apply should have the above-stated behavioural competencies and the following minimum qualifications:
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or relevant fields.
Added Advantage
- Basic Computer Training.
- Training in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a front-facing administrative or customer service role.
- Experience in operating office equipment such as scanners, printers, and PBX systems will be an added advantage.
