POSITION INFO

Join a well-established food manufacturing organisation operating within an integrated food value chain environment, with large-scale processing, production, cold chain and distribution operations. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving electrical and mechanical plant equipment within a high-capacity manufacturing facility. This role requires a hands-on technical professional who can work independently, respond effectively to breakdowns and contribute to preventative maintenance initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment. Diagnose and repair equipment faults to minimise production downtime. Perform fault finding on automated systems, machinery and production equipment. Install, maintain and commission industrial equipment. Assist with continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades. Conduct inspections and identify potential equipment failures before breakdowns occur. Ensure compliance with health, safety and operational standards. Support the maintenance team in achieving plant reliability targets. Minimum Requirements: Qualified Millwright (Red Seal). Relevant technical qualification and trade test certification. Proven experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, food processing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding capabilities. Experience working with production machinery and industrial equipment. Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced production environment. Strong commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
