POSITION INFO

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Commerce, Marketing, Strategic Management (NQF Level 7) Minimum Experience: 5-10 years' experience in the Business Development field Key Outputs: Reporting to the Senior Manager: Corporate Planning & Development, the appointee will: Identify new business opportunities Manage the Review of Foreign Direct Investment trends and factors driving overseas investment, analyse how investment locations are selected and create an enabling environment for AW Pursue business growth opportunities Facilitate the Establishment of networks and effective partnerships with other agencies to promote investment Foster relations with clients Assist Identifying key role players and investment promotion channels Assist in Initiating establishment of independent legal channel(s) to raise funds required for the organization's growth and project investments Implement revenue growth strategies Identify opportunities to provide water to new municipalities, industries or commercial customers Identify opportunities for non-regulated streams Source Funding Investments Manage the ownership of projects in terms of common equity and/or preferred equity Manage convertible / secured / unsecured debt on short and long term, as applicable Develop Business Plans Contribute to business planning and corporate financial management Analyse financial markets to manage financial planning, project risks and capital Ensure Feasibility Study Ensure financial regulations and facilitate compliance in line with relevant legislation Coordinate BEE Compliance Key Competencies: Financial modelling Due diligence processes Negotiating/ structuring experience Ability to manage multiple projects Strong analytical skills Financial modelling and process management skills Valid unendorsed driver's license Employment Equity Target: Preference will be given to females
