Job Overview

An established engineering organisation is seeking a skilled

Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Our client specialises in delivering turnkey engineering solutions across municipal, industrial, mining, and commercial sectors. Their expertise includes the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, refurbishment, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems throughout Southern Africa.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
• Knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, or industrial process plants is advantageous.
• Strong planning, budgeting, and resource management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Valid driver's licence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate engineers, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Monitor project progress and ensure delivery against project milestones.
• Manage project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Prepare project reports and communicate progress to management.
• Lead and mentor project teams.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.
