SUMMARY

Our client is a well-established manufacturer and service provider of crushing, screening and mineral processing equipment to the mining industry. On their behalf, RecruitPro is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their product support team on a permanent basis, based in Spartan, Gauteng.

POSITION INFO

Requirements Technical Diploma and trade test in a relevant field (Millwright qualification preferred) Minimum 3 years' experience in a service or similar technical role Valid driver's licence Computer literate, with the ability to compile quotations Sound knowledge of the mining industry and crushing equipment Exposure to separation technology and the IMS product range preferable Physically fit and able to work on heavy mining equipment Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, adaptable and assertive Key Responsibilities Mechanical, C&I and electrical technical refurbishments and servicing across the full equipment range Assembling new crushers, sorters and process equipment; preparing and running test beds Operating Comex machinery on site Completing test certificates and QCP documentation Installing new and refurbished equipment on site, and assisting with final commissioning Conducting customer site visits, fault finding, and compiling technical reports and recommendations Assisting with quotation information and spares requirements Assisting the Planner and supervising execution of planned tasks Completing timesheets, maintaining workshop equipment and housekeeping standards Conducting safety talks and assisting with training of subordinates Participating in a 24/7 standby roster with a 1-hour response call-out service How to Apply Interested and suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply online or email a detailed CV to
