About Tuhf Capital

Tuhf Capital is a property-entrepreneur financier — we fund emerging and established property entrepreneurs who develop and renovate buildings to create affordable rental housing across South Africa's metros and townships. We are a commercially driven, impact-conscious business, guided by our values: Partnership, Trust, Excellence, and Commercial Success.

The role

We are looking for a hands-on Network Administrator to provide technical support on TUHF's IT systems, hardware and software to our users. Spanning helpdesk & PC support, application support, and network administration & maintenance, you'll be a key part of a small IT team that keeps our people productive and our systems secure and reliable. The role reports to the IT Executive.

What you'll do

Helpdesk & PC support

· Provide first-line helpdesk support — log, analyse, triage and resolve users' IT issues

· Prepare hardware and software for users, and support electronic office equipment

· Track and order computer/printer consumables; manage preventative and reactive maintenance

· Liaise with IT service providers to resolve issues; train and coach users

Application support

· Test newly developed systems and provide feedback; resolve system, workflow and data errors

· Provide system administration on the Loan Cycle Management Platform (LCMS) — producing reports and maintaining metadata

· Contribute to IT projects with input, recommendations and feedback

Network administration & maintenance

· Set up users — email accounts, network access, passwords and related IT requirements

· Maintain the hardware and software asset register (input to Finance)

· Support systems and software upgrades, patches and configuration changes

· Monitor network and server uptime; address issues and escalate complex ones

· Implement data-security and backup practices; administer user rights; document network configuration

General administration

· Reconcile data contracts and invoices; verify and approve invoices against approved quotes

What you'll bring

· MCSE, A+ and N+ (or similar qualifications)

· At least 3 years' experience providing technical support to users

· Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and high attention to detail

· A service-first orientation and clear communication with users at all levels

· Solid technology-usage capability across Microsoft environments, networks and IT hardware

Nice to have

· Exposure to financial-services or other regulated environments

· Experience supporting a loan / line-of-business platform

Why Tuhf
