Dealer Support Manager

This is a full-time on-site role for a Dealer Support Manager at Chery South Africa in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. The Dealer Support Manager will be responsible for managing dealer relationships, providing support and guidance to dealers, analyzing sales data, developing strategies to improve dealer performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilites

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers to ensure satisfaction and alignment with company goals.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to dealers on product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational processes.
  • Track dealer performance, sales targets, and customer satisfaction levels; provide guidance to help meet targets.
  • Address dealer concerns, resolve issues, and act as a liaison between dealers and the company to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist dealers with marketing initiatives, promotions, and advertising strategies to increase brand awareness and sales.
  • Monitor dealer inventory levels and coordinate the timely delivery of vehicles and parts to maintain adequate stock.
  • Ensure dealers adhere to company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Collect feedback from dealers regarding customer needs, market trends, and product performance to inform future strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on dealer performance, sales, and market conditions to senior management.
  • Collaborate with dealers to ensure a high standard of customer service and address any customer complaints or issues.
  • Assist in developing and implementing dealer growth strategies and expansion plans in the region.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of managerial experience.
  • Technician qualification.
  • OEM experience is ideal.
  • Automotive industry experience is non-negotiable.
