Business Development Representative (BDR) Generate high-value sales opportunities by building outbound pipeline across the UK market and engaging senior decision-makers. Location: Cape Town (Hybrid - 2 days in office preferred) / South Africa (Fully Remote) | Working Arrangement: Hybrid or Remote | Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm UK Time (flexibility between 8:00am - 6:00pm based on seasonal/daily targets) | Salary: R35,000+ per month plus layered commission ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is a fast-paced marketing organisation that operates within a results-driven environment. THE ROLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (BDR) The purpose of this role is to generate outbound pipeline opportunities within the UK market by engaging C-suite and senior marketing and sales leaders. The successful candidate will qualify opportunities, validate business cases, and secure qualified meetings that contribute to the sales pipeline. The role requires a highly driven sales professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment and contributes directly to business growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting using parallel diallers, targeting a minimum of 100 dials per day. Execute personalised LinkedIn outreach and email campaigns. Qualify inbound and outbound prospects using BANT and MEDDIC qualification frameworks. Identify customer pain points and validate business needs. Engage confidently with UK-based C-suite and senior sales and marketing executives. Present value propositions to prospective clients. Achieve a monthly target of 25 qualified booked meetings (SAT discoveries). Ensure a consistent flow of qualified opportunities into the active sales pipeline. Continuously test, refine, and introduce new outreach methodologies rather than relying on standard scripts. ABOUT YOU Proven outbound B2B sales experience as a BDR or SDR within a high-tempo calling environment. Deep knowledge of the global payroll or international staffing sectors. Strong consultative selling experience using BANT and/or MEDDIC qualification frameworks. Direct experience prospecting into the UK market. Experience engaging enterprise-level and C-suite decision-makers within the UK. Working knowledge of the staffing market. Experience managing sales pipelines within HubSpot CRM is highly preferred. Exceptional verbal communication skills. Resilience and the ability to work autonomously. Ability to work UK business hours. WHAT''S ON OFFER R35,000+ monthly base salary.
