Introduction

An established legal practice is seeking an experienced and professional Legal Receptionist to join its team. This role is suited to a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills, a strong administrative background, and previous experience within a legal environment. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients while providing efficient administrative and reception support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office.

POSITION INFO

Duties & Responsibilities Professionally answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls. Welcome clients and visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression. Manage attorney diaries, appointments, and meeting schedules. Prepare, draft, and distribute correspondence and legal-related documentation as required. Perform general administrative and reception duties. Maintain accurate filing systems and client records, both electronic and physical. Provide administrative support to attorneys and other staff members. Process and capture information on Sage where required. Assist with office coordination and ensure the reception area remains organised and presentable. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Receptionist. Previous experience working within a legal practice is essential. Proficiency in Sage is required. Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional telephone manner and presentation. Strong administrative and organisational abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
