A prestigious safari lodge is looking for a MAINTENANCE MANAGER to see to the upkeep of their luxury camp in the Greater Kruger.

The Maintenance Manager keeps this boutique safari lodge running smoothly, directly shaping how guests experience their stay. The role goes beyond technical skills: you'll need sharp organizational instincts, a hands-on approach to solving problems, and the resourcefulness to work well in a remote bush setting where you can't always call in backup. Core Criteria: Proven experience in property or hospitality maintenance management. Strong technical knowledge across electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Hands-on problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Leadership and team management experience. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to adapt and be resourceful in a remote bush environment. Commitment to safety, sustainability, and high service standards. Candidate Responsibilities: Oversee daily upkeep of lodge infrastructure (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water systems). Maintain pools, gardens, and guest areas to luxury standards. Implement preventative maintenance schedules and respond to urgent repairs. Manage a small maintenance team, ensuring efficiency and safety. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized work. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Support seamless guest experiences by keeping facilities in top condition.
