SUMMARY

The Parts Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately picking, checking, packing, and preparing automotive parts for dispatch while ensuring excellent stock accuracy and efficient warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customers receive the correct parts on time and in excellent condition.

POSITION INFO

Description: Accurately pick automotive parts according to picking slips or customer orders. Verify part numbers, quantities, and product descriptions before packing. Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transportation. Label packages correctly and prepare documentation for dispatch. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and binning incoming stock. Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory control. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect stock to the Warehouse Supervisor. Maintain clean, neat, and organized warehouse shelving and work areas. Operate barcode scanners and warehouse management systems where applicable. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles when required. Support the warehouse team during busy periods and month-end stock takes. Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric). Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or automotive parts environment. Knowledge of automotive parts and part numbers will be advantageous. Computer literate with basic Microsoft Office skills. Experience using warehouse management systems or barcode scanners is advantageous. Valid driver's licence will be beneficial.
