Role Overview

We are seeking a Field Technician Intern to join our Service Delivery team. This role offers real-world, hands-on experience in installations, VoIP systems, networking, and customer training. The intern will work closely with senior technicians to ensure successful service activations and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with on-site installations of VoIP, LTE, and fibre solutions.
Configure routers, SIP devices, and customer equipment under supervision.
Perform site assessments and document installation details accurately.
Support customers with onboarding and product demonstrations.
Report faults and assist in troubleshooting on-site or remotely.
Maintain proper stock, tools, and job cards for each installation.
Collaborate with the Support and Billing teams to close installation tickets.

Requirements

Studying or recently completed a qualification in IT, Networking, or Telecommunications.
Basic understanding of networking principles, IP addressing, and VoIP.
Willingness to work in the field and travel to client sites.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under supervision.
Valid driver’s license or learner’s permit (advantageous).
