Our client is a leading provider of automotive mobility solutions, partnering with dealer networks across South Africa to deliver specialised operational support services. They are looking for a Statistical Support Assistant to join their team and provide analytical support within the Motorplan function at one of their client sites in Midrand. This opportunity is ideal for a junior analytical professional looking to develop their career in financial reporting, forecasting and data analysis. This role is ideal for a junior analytical professional looking to develop their career in a corporate environment while gaining exposure to financial reporting, forecasting, liability calculations and business analysis. Working closely with experienced professionals, you will assist with reporting and analytical activities using Microsoft Excel, SAS systems, Microsoft Copilot and Power BI. Key Responsibilities Support the Motorplan team with statistical and analytical activities. Assist with the preparation of financial and statistical reports relating to Motorplan and Service Plan claims and policies. Support Motorplan pricing analysis and contract evaluations. Assist with forecasting and liability calculations. Support risk analysis by gathering and analysing data. Provide analytical support for actuarial reporting requirements. Analyse data and identify trends to support business decision-making. Work with Microsoft Excel, SAS systems, Microsoft Copilot and Power BI to support reporting and analysis activities. Assist the team with ad hoc reporting and data-related tasks as required. Requirements Previous experience or demonstrated capability in financial reporting, data analysis, forecasting or statistical support. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Exposure to Power BI will be advantageous. Ability to work with large datasets and produce meaningful reports. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. Comfortable learning new systems, including SAS. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Previous automotive or Motorplan experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates from other industries with strong analytical and financial reporting experience are encouraged to apply. Working Hours: Monday to Friday Standard office hours Package R35,000 - R40,000 Cost to Company per month. This is a flexible CTC package, allowing employees to structure benefits such as medical aid and provident fund within the total remuneration package.
