Vehicle Evaluator – KwaZulu-Natal
Salary: R10,000 – R15,000 per month (Depending on experience)
Location: KwaZulu-Natal
Position: Permanent.
A well-established automotive company in KwaZulu-Natal is looking for an experienced
Vehicle Evaluator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately evaluating and purchasing vehicles, conducting inspections, negotiating with customers, and ensuring all vehicles meet company standards while achieving monthly buying targets.

Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and appraise vehicles using current market trends and company guidelines. Conduct detailed mechanical and cosmetic vehicle inspections. Negotiate purchase offers and successfully conclude deals. Achieve monthly vehicle buying targets. Maintain accurate appraisal records and supporting documentation. Utilise CMS and Autobird systems for vehicle evaluations and reporting. Liaise with sales and management to ensure smooth processing of purchased vehicles. Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the buying process. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric). Valid Code 8 driver's licence. 3-5 years' experience as a Vehicle Evaluator, Vehicle Buyer, or Automotive Appraiser within a franchised dealership or vehicle buying environment. Experience evaluating a wide range of passenger vehicle brands, including Nissan, Omoda, Jaecoo, Chery, Hyundai, GWM, Mercedes-Benz, Mahindra, Haval, and Kia. Experience using CMS and Autobird is essential. Strong knowledge of vehicle market values and appraisal techniques. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Key Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. High attention to detail and sound decision-making skills. Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet targets. Customer-focused with a professional and results-driven approach.
