Clinical Sales Consultant (Theatre)

Are you a registered nurse with operating theatre experience and a passion for sales?
We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Sales Consultant to join a leading medical devices organisation. This role is ideal for a clinically qualified professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, providing product training, and supporting healthcare professionals in the theatre environment.
The ideal candidate is not a generic medical sales representative. We are looking for someone with a clinical background (registered nurse/theatre nurse) who has transitioned into medical device sales, particularly within the operating theatre environment.
Should have product knowledge in operating theatres.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, surgeons, theatre staff and key decision-makers.
- Promote a portfolio of surgical products, including drapes, gowns, consumables, procedure packs and reusable theatre solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
- Deliver product demonstrations and clinical training to healthcare professionals.
- Provide clinical support and product advice within the operating theatre environment.
- Assist with product roll-outs, customised procedure pack implementation and cost studies.
- Monitor customer stock levels and provide ongoing account support.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Nursing Diploma or Degree.
- Current SANC registration.
- 5–7 years' experience working in an operating theatre or perioperative environment.
- Previous medical device or healthcare sales experience will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and customer-focused approach.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel to client sites.
