We are seeking a qualified, goal-driven and self-motivated

Unit Administrator to join our multidisciplinary team.

Purpose of the Role

The Unit Administrator provides efficient, professional, and patient-centred administrative support to ensure the effective operation of the dialysis unit. As the first point of contact for patients, families, and visitors, the role coordinates administrative, operational, financial, and communication processes to support care coordination, continuity of care, and the efficient functioning of the multidisciplinary team.

The Unit Administrator contributes to high-quality dialysis services by maintaining accurate records and documentation, supporting quality reporting, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements, and promoting continuous improvement to enhance patient experience, service delivery, and operational performance.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements Qualifications Grade 12 or Equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) Relevant administrative qualification or certificate would be advantageous. Experience Min 1-2 years of administrative experience in healthcare, customer service or office environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and process information accurately. Experience using electronic systems, databases or patient administration systems Knowledge Knowledge of medical aid, billing or healthcare administration processes will be advantageous.
