A leading food manufacturer is looking for an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong background in the fruit & vegetable category to manage strategic retail and food service accounts across South Africa. Non-Negotiable Requirements Minimum 4 years' experience in fresh produce or frozen fruit & vegetable sales Proven Key Account Management experience within the food service or retail sector Understanding of the fresh and frozen fruit & vegetable supply chain, product lifecycle, and seasonal market dynamics Existing relationships with major retail or food service buying groups Own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel Job Experience & Skills Required Manage and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts Identify new business opportunities and expand market share Develop strategic account plans to achieve sales and margin targets Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong client relationships Monitor market trends and competitor activity Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and account performance reviews Work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and delivery This role suits a commercially driven professional who understands the food industry and thrives on building long-term partnerships.
