POSITION INFO

Based in Durban North Junior Logistics Co-Ordinator Salary on offer is R11 000 Working hours 7am to 5pm After hours standby for any calls from Drivers Strong computer literacy Shipment Coordination: Assist senior staff in organizing transport, booking freight, and tracking both inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee timely delivery. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist with regular stock counts, and reconcile any inventory discrepancies. Documentation: Prepare and process crucial shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, packing lists, delivery notes, and customs documentation. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for routine queries from transport carriers, suppliers, and internal warehouse teams. Data Entry & Reporting: Keep logistics databases (such as ERP or WMS systems) up to date and assist in generating reports on shipping statuses and costs. Problem-Solving: Proactively address minor shipping delays, route inefficiencies, or delivery issues, escalating more complex problems to the logistics manager.
