REGIONAL SECURITY MANAGER (Grade A PSiRA - Essential)

Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing security services provider committed to service excellence, quality, and professionalism, and are looking for an experienced Regional Security Manager to lead their KwaZulu-Natal operations. Reporting to the National Security Operations Manager, the Regional Security Manager will take full responsibility for compliance, people management, service delivery, and risk management across all KZN sites, ensuring the highest standards of security operations and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and respond to compliance incidents
• Oversee the issuing of firearms and related compliance
• Deliver excellent people management across the region
• Drive service delivery and quality management
• Coordinate emergency services and business contingency planning
• Monitor health and safety across all sites
• Identify, measure, control and minimise operational and compliance risk

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 with an accredited National Diploma / Degree in Security Management, along with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Firearms Control, at least 10 years’ experience in the security industry of which 4 years’ are in a managerial position
• Valid, registered Grade A PSiRA certificate is essential
• Firearm Coordinator certificate, basic Investigations / Intelligence certificate (2-week course) or relevant experience, a health & Safety qualification would be advantageous
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage security staff
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions
• Clean criminal record with no pending cases
• Sound knowledge of security equipment and systems
• Firearm competency: handgun, shotgun and rifle
