RecruitPro Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the industrial technology and product development space, seeking an experienced

User Experience Designer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a UX professional who is passionate about human-centred design to make a real impact across a diverse product range spanning embedded, web, mobile, and desktop applications.

You will conduct comprehensive research, design, and optimisation of system applications and products to improve usability and deliver exceptional user experiences. Using your expertise in human-computer interaction (HCI) and UX design principles, you'll refine both software applications and physical system requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce creative and innovative design solutions that deliver a world-class user experience
• Leverage market analysis, customer feedback, user research, and analytics to design around the user
• Provide specialised input into the User Experience Design phase of User Interface development
• Conduct in-depth user research through site visits and customer interviews to understand user pains, gains, and needs
• Perform and document product/system analysis by creating user personas and user stories
• Identify potential product shortcomings from a user's perspective
• Create intuitive processes and paths that help users complete tasks easily
• Construct wireframes for handover to the Visual Designer
• Conduct usability studies and testing on products and systems
• Adapt designs based on feedback from end users, stakeholders, and design leaders
• Champion human-centred design principles and advocate for the user across all products
• Align UI design with brand guidelines to ensure consistency across the product range
• Create intuitive solutions across Embedded, Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications

Requirements

• Relevant B-Com, B-Sc, B-IT, or equivalent qualification
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a User Experience Design environment
• Solid knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) principles
• Theoretical and practical understanding of UX and UI design principles
• Understanding of broader UX topics: information architecture, psychology, emotional design, and interaction design
• Proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD
• CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop knowledge advantageous
• Software Engineering Development lifecycle knowledge advantageous
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally (valid passport required)
