Warehouse loader

Get Off Grid is a leading distributor of solar and renewable energy equipment, supplying solar panels, inverters, batteries and related products to resellers and installers across South Africa.

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Warehouse Loader to assist with the safe loading, offloading, movement and handling of customer orders and stock within the warehouse. The role supports the warehouse, dispatch and logistics teams by ensuring that goods are handled carefully, loaded accurately and prepared for customer collections, deliveries and transport providers.

• Load and offload stock, customer orders and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Assist with moving, packing, wrapping and staging goods for dispatch.
• Ensure the correct goods are loaded according to delivery notes, waybills or dispatch instructions.
• Work closely with the Dispatch Clerk and warehouse team to support daily dispatch schedules.
• Assist with customer collections and third-party transport collections.
• Check goods for visible damage before loading or offloading and report any issues immediately.
• Ensure fragile, heavy or high-value items are handled with care.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised loading and dispatch area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock movement, housekeeping and cycle counts where required.
• Follow all health and safety rules, manual handling procedures and warehouse processes.

• Grade 12 / Matric preferred.
• Previous warehouse, loading, dispatch or logistics experience advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to lift, carry and move stock safely.
• Ability to follow instructions and work accurately under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Advantageous

• Experience in wholesale distribution, logistics, electrical, solar or renewable energy products.
• Forklift licence or experience operating warehouse handling equipment.
• Basic understanding of dispatch documentation such as delivery notes, waybills and PODs.
