Get Off Grid is a leading distributor of solar and renewable energy equipment, supplying solar panels, inverters, batteries and related products to resellers and installers across South Africa.

We are looking for a highly organised Dispatch Clerk to run our dispatch desk and coordinate the movement of customer orders from sales through to collection or delivery. You will be the communication link between customers, internal sales, transport providers and the warehouse packing team, ensuring every order leaves our facility accurately, efficiently and on time.

  • Manage the dispatch desk and the daily dispatch schedule.
  • Coordinate customer collections, deliveries and third-party transport providers.
  • Keep customers informed on order status, collection readiness and delivery times.
  • Work closely with warehouse packers to prioritise, pick and release orders.
  • Verify completed orders against sales documentation before dispatch.
  • Prepare delivery notes, waybills, proof-of-delivery (POD) and other dispatch documentation.
  • Capture all dispatch transactions accurately and timeously on the ERP system.
  • Monitor outstanding dispatches and follow up on delayed orders.
  • Resolve dispatch-related queries with customers and internal departments.
  • Support stock control, cycle counts and overall inventory accuracy.
  • South African citizen - employment equity candidate
  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • 2–3 years' experience in dispatch, logistics or warehouse administration.
  • Working knowledge of a warehouse management systems.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office).

Advantageous

  • Experience in wholesale distribution, logistics or the renewable energy sector.
  • Sound knowledge of dispatch documentation (delivery notes, waybills, PODs) and transport coordination.
