Investment Associate

We have an amazing opportunity for an Investment Analyst/Investment Associate at a leading Mezzanine Debt Fund based in Johannesburg! The main purpose of this role is to support deal origination, transaction execution, and portfolio management across Southern African markets, with a particular focus on the South African and CMA regions.

We require a candidate with

• 4 to 6 years of prior work experience in Mezzanine Debt, Leveraged or Acquisition Finance, Project Finance, Corporate Finance/M&A, Debt Capital Markets, Private Equity, or Equity Finance.
• Strong knowledge of the South African market with an established network, and a South African national identity, specifically black female candidates.
• Experience in an Investment Bank, Private Equity Fund, Mezzanine Fund, or Corporate Finance boutique advisory firm (government or SOE candidates are not preferred).
• Proven skills in financial modelling, deal structuring, valuations, and due diligence.
• Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
