ABOUT THE ROLE

The Service Development Specialist is responsible for identifying, designing and implementing new service and business development opportunities across Nurture Health's national rehabilitation hospital network.

This is far more than a traditional business development role. You'll develop a deep understanding of how our organisation operates, analyse clinical and operational performance, identify opportunities for innovation, and work alongside multidisciplinary specialists to design services that improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency and sustainable growth.

You'll combine data, insight and creativity to help shape the future of rehabilitation healthcare.

You will

  • Identify, evaluate and implement new service, revenue and business development opportunities by analysing organisational operations, patient needs, market trends and performance data.
  • Design and improve business processes, policies and systems that support innovative, evidence-based, compliant and sustainable healthcare services across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational and specialist teams, providing expert guidance and influencing stakeholders to successfully translate ideas into measurable organisational outcomes.

ABOUT YOU

Minimum Requirements

  • NQF Level 7 qualification in Business, Health Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in successfully leading or contributing to new business development, new ventures, or strategic revenue growth projects within a healthcare or multi-site service organisation.
  • Business Advisor (BA)–level business advisory knowledge as set out in the Institute of Business Advisors Southern Africa (IBASA) professional designations and grading framework, including its application within the South African healthcare context.
