POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounting function, including month-end and year-end processes. Prepare accurate management accounts and financial reports. Analyse operational costs, margins and profitability. Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. Monitor inventory, stock movements and cost allocations where applicable. Ensure VAT, PAYE and statutory compliance. Support internal and external audit processes. Develop and improve financial controls and operational processes. Partner with operational managers to provide financial insights that drive business decisions. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements. Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required. Minimum Requirements BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance. Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles will be advantageous. 3+ years' experience in a commercial or operational accounting environment. Strong understanding of management accounting and financial reporting. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Syspro or similar. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. The Ideal Candidate Commercially minded with strong analytical skills. Hands-on and willing to get involved in the operational side of the business. Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Strong organisational and time management skills. Confident communicator who can build relationships across finance and operations.
