An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our client's growing infrastructure team. This position offers the chance to lead high-value renewable energy and civil engineering projects while playing a strategic role in tender management, client engagement, and successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • BSc in Civil Engineering / additional qualifications in Project Management and/or an MBA will be advantageous.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience within the civil construction industry.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing construction sites.
  • At least 3 years' renewable energy project experience.
  • Proven project management experience involving design, supervision, EPC, and road construction projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in CCS, MS Project, Microsoft Office, with working knowledge of AutoCAD and Primavera.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the full project lifecycle from tender preparation through construction and project completion.
  • Leading engineering and estimating teams during conventional and design-and-construct tender submissions.
  • Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Managing contractual obligations, project risks, claims, and variations.
  • Implementing Project Execution Plans that align with quality, safety, budget, and programme objectives.
  • Producing project reports, maintaining documentation, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication.
  • Contributing to the ongoing growth of the client portfolio within the Western Cape region.
