Operations Manage

Our client is seeking an Operations Manager to manage the manufacturing operations in their beverage production facility in KZN. The successful candidate will be responsible for the performance of manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, food safety requirements, and business objectives are achieved

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives

Lead multidisciplinary teams across production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and warehousing

Optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs

Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, health and safety, and environmental standards

Monitor operational KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives

Manage plant resources, operational budgets, and capital improvement projects

Drive employee engagement, leadership development, and succession planning

Collaborate with executive leadership to support long-term business growth

Candidate Requirements

Matric

Operations Management Degree

8 - 10 Years experience as an Operations Manager or senior manufacturing leadership role in the beverage, food, or FMCG industry

Understanding of beverage manufacturing processes and operational excellence principles

Leadership, strategic planning, and financial management skills

Experience driving Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement programmes

Communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities
