SUMMARY

We are looking for a Sales-oriented BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER to join our MSHEQ, CAPE TOWN team.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements: -Matric -SEAMTRAC -3 Years health and safety consulting experience -Reliable Car and valid driver's license. Willing to travel -Proficient in at least 2 national languages of which one must be -English -Computer literate -Minimum 3 to 5 years sales experience & 2 years health and safety industry experience. Key Responsibilities: -Sourcing of new business -Travel and identify areas with potential business opportunities (canvass) -Conduct research on potential clients -Set up meeting to introduce MSHEQ to potential clients -Be sufficiently prepared for meetings with MSHEQ marketing material -Ensure all quoted clients have been invoiced accordingly. -Ensuring timely submission & accuracy of commission sheets. -Client relationship building - client in-person visit from the Head of Sales -Updating the sales modules on CRM -Execute key customer entertainment in line with budget -Identify any advertising, marketing and entertainment opportunities in line with budget. -Ensure client payments are received in time and attend weekly age meetings -Sales Administration -All emails and quotes to be responded to within 24 hours -All consulting/retainer quotes to be accompanied by a proposal & approved by HOS -All quotes to be followed up weekly -Quotes file to be updated daily and submitted weekly -All quotes to be accompanied by terms and conditions -All consulting invoices to be accompanied by a legally approved SLA -All marketing material to be emailed with initial point of contact -4 x client reviews to be obtained monthly -Petrol Recons to be submitted within 7 working days from receival of statement from the Finance department -Sales / Operations Hand over -Work closely with other departments when selling training or consulting -All consulting work to be added to consulting board as soon as invoice is issued -Head of consulting / Head of training to be introduced to clients for further communication -Training to be captured on training calendar and booking form uploaded in a timely manner -Hand-over meeting to be set up with Head of Consulting for all new retainer clients -External Sales -Hunt for new business and Weekly KPI targets are met If you are a highly organised, detail orientated professional with prior experience in the industry we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
