Expeditious processing of RFQ’s as per customer requirement.

Minimum Requirements

ACADEMIC / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSc Degree in Engineering
  • Administrative Qualification (advantageous)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in systems, including developing systems proposals (advatageous).
  • Customer Relations Experience (advantageous)
  • MS Office Proficient

Duties and Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

Customer Interaction

Work with customers to create suitable tenders and proposals. Understand customer needs and develop solutions. Handle customer visits and assist with queries.

Managing Tenders and RFQs (Request for Quotes)

Record tender opportunities in the CRM system. Determine quote feasibility by checking customer RFQs. Prepare technical materials and system designs for tenders. Ensure all technical and commercial requirements are met. Ensure timely delivery of tenders to customers as requested.

Collaboration

Use tools to select products that meet customer needs. Collaborate with engineers for cost-effective solutions. Ensure accurate costing with the Engineering and Workshop Manager. Follow established departmental policies, procedures and objectives, assuring continuous quality improvement & safety awareness.

Supporting Sales

Assist the sales team in gathering project details and representing the company. Use the entire product range to meet customer goals.

Pricing and Cost

Analyse costs and obtain supplier quotes. Create accurate pricing schedules based on RFQs.

Order Processing

Acknowledge customer orders and assist with order-specific queries.

Supplier and Product Support

Work with suppliers to resolve issues. Provide support for technical queries.
