SUMMARY
Our clients are seeking an experienced and professional
Construction Manager to join their team.
Purpose
Lead and manage the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of construction projects, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Professional Construction Manager (Pr.CM), or
- Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr.CPM), or
- Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng).
- Hazardous area competency.
- Industrial hazardous area standards and compliance
- Industrial piping, pressure systems, or asset integrity.
- Electrical infrastructure and hazardous-area installations.
- Brownfield or heavy industrial construction management.
Experience
- Minimum: 5 years' experience managing and supervising construction projects.
- Preferred: 10+ years' experience leading multidisciplinary construction projects within industrial or brownfield environments.
POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and manage construction activities from initiation to completion. Supervise contractors and multidisciplinary construction teams. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Review construction methodologies, work plans, and risk assessments. Coordinate project interfaces with engineering, operations, and clients. Manage permits, site access, shutdown activities, and construction sequencing where required. Conduct site inspections and resolve construction-related technical issues. Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable standards, specifications, and contractual requirements. Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to stakeholders.
