Stores Supervisor

Our client, a well-established company in the Electronics Manufacturing (EMS) industry, is seeking an experienced Stores Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of its Stores department. The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory control, warehouse operations, job card administration, logistics coordination, and leading the Stores team to support production and achieve operational objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the Stores department.
- Manage the receipt, storage, issuing, and control of inventory.
- Oversee job card processing and ensure accurate transactions within Syspro ERP.
- Monitor and manage Work in Progress (WIP) in conjunction with the Planning and Production departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure FIFO stock rotation.
- Coordinate cycle counts, stock takes, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare stock adjustment documentation and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Allocate work, supervise, coach, and support the Stores team.
- Liaise with Production, Planning, Quality, and other departments regarding material requirements and stock availability.
- Coordinate deliveries, collections, dispatch activities, and finished goods warehouse operations.
- Prepare inventory and operational reports.
- Support month-end and year-end stock processes.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety standards, and departmental KPIs.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (advantageous).
- Inventory Management or Warehouse Management certification will be advantageous.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a manufacturing stores or warehouse environment.
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
- Experience working on Syspro ERP or a similar ERP system.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and stock management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
