Westwood Skye is a premium provider of secure self-catering accommodation located within the prestigious Westwood Estate in Westville, Durban.

We offer ten spacious, fully equipped 5-bed 5-bath lodges catering to:

  • Corporate travellers
  • Project teams
  • Universities
  • Schools
  • Sports teams
  • Medical visitors
  • Long-stay guests
  • Families

We are entering an exciting growth phase and are looking for an experienced sales professional to help us build long-term corporate relationships and significantly increase occupancy.

This is not a reservations position.

This is a business development role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and closing long-term accommodation agreements.

The Opportunity

Your objective is simple.

Increase occupancy by developing sustainable accommodation partnerships with:

  • Corporate companies
  • Construction and engineering firms
  • Hospitals
  • Universities
  • Schools
  • Sports organisations
  • Government departments
  • Relocation companies
  • Travel management companies
  • Tour operators

Success in this role will lead to significant earning potential and long-term career growth within the business.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Develop new corporate accommodation accounts
  • Prospect for new business daily
  • Arrange client meetings and presentations
  • Prepare proposals and quotations
  • Negotiate accommodation agreements
  • Build long-term client relationships
  • Maintain a structured CRM pipeline
  • Achieve agreed occupancy and revenue targets

Guest & Client Relationship Management

  • Assist key corporate clients before, during and after their stay
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Support the Reservations Manager during peak periods

We Are Looking for Someone Who

  • Enjoys finding new business.
  • Is confident speaking with senior decision-makers.
  • Has a proven record of winning new clients.
  • Can work independently.
  • Is commercially minded.
  • Wants to build something rather than simply maintain it.

Experience within hospitality, accommodation, conferencing, tourism or corporate travel will be highly advantageous but is not essential if you have an exceptional business development background.

A valid driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle are essential.

Remuneration

We are looking for the right person rather than trying to fit someone into a predetermined salary.
