We have an amazing opportunity for a HR Systems Technical Specialist to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical ownership, integration, reporting, analytics, security and governance of the HR technology landscape. The role ensures the reliability, security, scalability and optimisation of HR systems and related technologies while enabling data-driven decision making across the organisation.

You Bring

  • Experience supporting HR technology platforms.
  • Experience with any Oracle Cloud Fusion module (Human Capital Management, Talent Management, Oracle Recruitment Cloud and Help Desk).
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Experience with reporting, analytics and dashboard development.
  • Experience with system integrations and interface management.
  • Experience with security administration and access management.
  • Experience supporting technology projects and system implementations, preferably within the HR landscape.
  • Experience with data governance and compliance processes.

What You’ll Do For The Brand

Technical Ownership

  • Provide technical ownership of HR systems and associated technologies.
  • Maintain technical design documentation.
  • Evaluate system performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Ensure the HR technical solutions align with organisational requirements and strategic objectives.

Integration Management

  • Design, manage and support system integrations and interfaces.
  • Monitor integration performance and data flows.
  • Investigate and resolve interface failures and integration issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical stakeholders.
  • Support future technology integrations and enhancements.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Design, develop and maintain HR reports, dashboards and analytics solutions.
  • Support operational, tactical and strategic reporting requirements.
  • Analyse workforce and HR data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and insights to stakeholders.
  • Support executive and regulatory reporting requirements.

Security and Access Governance

  • Design and maintain security structures and access controls.
  • Manage role-based access and security frameworks.
  • Conduct security reviews and audits.
  • Support compliance with privacy, security and governance requirements.
  • Monitor segregation of duties and security risks.

Data Governance and Compliance

  • Support data governance frameworks and standards.
  • Conduct system, security and data audits.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Support compliance reporting and governance initiatives.

Technical Release Management

  • Lead technical assessment of system upgrades and releases.
  • Coordinate technical testing activities.
  • Review new functionality and recommend improvements.
  • Support deployment planning and execution.

Technical Innovation

  • Identify opportunities for automation and process digitisation.
  • Research selected HR emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Recommend innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives.

Project Delivery

  • Participate in HR technology implementations, upgrades and transformation projects.
  • Provide technical leadership on HR technology initiatives.
  • Develop technical specifications and solution designs.
  • Support project governance and documentation requirements.
