SAP HCM Consultant (OM/PA & SuccessFactors)

Our client, based in Centurion, Pretoria, is looking for an experienced SAP OM/PA ECC & SAP SuccessFactors Consultant to join their team. This is a hybrid role, requiring attendance at the office three days per week.

You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, integrating, and supporting SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors solutions while partnering with HR stakeholders to deliver efficient, compliant, and business-focused HR systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP ECC HCM (OM/PA), SAP SuccessFactors, HR integrations, and end-to-end project delivery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Configure and maintain organizational structures.
  • Maintain Organizational Units, Jobs, Positions, Tasks, and Reporting Relationships
  • Define evaluation paths and organizational workflows
  • Configure object relationships and organizational assignments
  • Manage position management structures and workforce planning requirements
  • Support organizational restructures, mergers, and acquisitions
  • Understand specific business needs of the business customer
  • Act as the application functional consultant by providing expertise in the business process supported by the application(s)
  • Work collaboratively with the customer to develop Business Requirements
  • Provide detailed definition on how the applications will support business requirements
  • Conduct impact analyses of business requirements on the system
  • Analyze, determine, and document system requirements
  • Ensure the software supports business requirements
  • Promote customer satisfaction and build strong customer relationships
  • Coordinate the design and development of work estimates
  • Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems, rather than reactive
  • Communicate accurate status of project deliverables, risk and issues
  • Support test planning and participate within test execution and reviews as required
  • Support creation and review production technical cutover deliverables as required
  • Systematic testing and evaluation of the effectiveness of the organization’s information technology general controls (ITGCs)
  • Perform regular system audits to detect deviations of established procedures, role mapping, unauthorized system activity and report findings.
  • Assist the team with the creation of written validation procedures, plans and reports
  • Provide second-level support for users with application and integration related problems
  • Prepare project related documentation (functional- and technical design, test scripts) during the different stages of a project.
  • Perform SAP Note Implementations (Functional & Security)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Human Resources,
  • Business Administration or related field.
  • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP HCM
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification

Experience

  • 8–15 years SAP HCM experience.
  • 5+ years SAP OM/PA configuration experience.
  • 3+ years SAP SuccessFactors implementation experience.
  • End-to-end implementation experience.
  • Support and enhancement experience in global HR environments.
