We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in supporting the effort to maximize Refinery profitability through structured optimization within functional governance models and processes.

POSITION INFO

Business Analyst - Sasolburg Duties and Responsibilities: Support effort to maximise Refinery's profitability through structured optimisation within functional governance models and processes. Cross-functional collaboration within the Business Units to balance Shareholder requirements with supply resources considering agreements, production, unit capacity, availability, efficiency, service level, and to ultimately maximise Refinery profitability sustainably. Roles responsibilities include mainly below: Economic Model - Daily Data updating pricing and market indicators Support developing of Production Plans vs Actual Production tracking, monitoring, and reporting dashboard Support Restoration of Product Quality Blending Performance Dashboards Support Restoration of Unit Performance Dashboards Weekly Assurance Meeting Preparation Monthly Planners Meeting Preparation All Refinery Report Preparation and submissions Provide a Weekly Status Update for SVP communication Minimum Qualifications and Experience required Qualifications: B degree Engineering (Chemical or Industrial Eng.) Min Experience: 3-5 Years experience Recruitment Description / Key Accountabilities A good understanding of the Refining value chain. A sound understanding of process unit operations including the constraints and flexibilities, and of product blending. Good communication and presentation skills. A high degree of computer literacy to be able to use and interpret the LP model results.
