Sales Administrator (Temporary) (Cape Town)

Our client, a leading speciality chemical Manufacturing company based in Cape Town, is looking to fill the temporary position of Sales Administrator.
Purpose of the Role
To ensure all activities with regards to sales, stock and credits are handled in a professional timeous manner with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Administration:
- Ensure all filing is accurately filed and up to date.
- Distribution administrator.
- Ensure that the correct business units / target markets are invoiced and informing the line manager of any occurrences where this is not the case.
Sales:
- Process distribution and industry orders timeously.
- Capture invoices onto Axapta with accuracy.
- Control cash sales.
Stock Control:
- Reduction of credits and communication with the operations manager regarding stock shortages and deliveries.
- Ensure proper communication of the above is sent to all staff involved in the process.
- Co-ordinate stock movement and stock levels (rotation of old stock).
- Assist with all stock take procedures and counts.
General:
- Undertake such additional duties which may from time to time be assigned to the Employee in the discharge of his / her duties.
- Ensure that all company property is used properly and maintained at a high level at all times.
- Ensure that a correct and proper image of the company is maintained at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate / Matric or NQF 4 qualification
- Must have 2-3 years’ experience in a sales administrative function
- Logistics qualification is an advantage
Special Requirements
- Regular and on time attendance
- Will be required to work overtime
