Cosmeceutical Skincare Trainer(JOHANNESBURG)

The Trainer is responsible for delivering exceptional online and in-person product and treatment education to all Stockists including; aesthetic physicians and skincare therapists. This role focuses on developing product knowledge, treatment confidence, and clinical expertise to ensure the successful implementation of Protocols and the consistent delivery of exceptional client results and product sales. The Trainer acts as a brand ambassador, supporting customer education, business growth, and ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Education & Training
- Deliver comprehensive online and in person product, ingredient and treatment training to Stockists.
- Facilitate both theoretical and practical training.
- Develop and maintain training material, presentations, manuals and educational resources.
- Manage the Training Platform
- Ensure all training reflects current treatment protocols and best practice.
Clinical Support
- Provide expert guidance on skincare concerns, treatment planning and product recommendations.
- Support customers with treatment protocols, troubleshooting and advanced product application.
- Assist with the successful introduction of new products and treatment launches.
- Stay current with industry trends, ingredient technology, clinical studies and competitor developments.
- Develop new treatment protocols
- Perform targeted treatments for candidates selected as potential before and afters.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through ongoing education and support.
- Act as a trusted clinical advisor, providing professional guidance and tailored skincare solutions.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely technical and product support.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to support customer success and business development.
Brand & Marketing Support
- Represent the brand at workshops, conferences, exhibitions, launches and professional events.
- Assist with educational webinars, digital training initiatives and in-clinic workshops.
- Ensure all educational content aligns with brand standards and messaging.
- Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, market trends and training opportunities.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Maintain accurate records of all training sessions, attendance and customer interactions.
- Prepare training reports and provide feedback on customer competency and implementation.
- Assist in maintaining and updating educational documentation and training resources.
- Issue Training Certificates
Education
- Somatology or Beauty Specialist Diploma (non-negotiable)
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Somatologist or Beauty Specialist.
- Previous experience in professional skincare education or training (preferred).
- Experience within the cosmeceutical or aesthetic skincare industry is highly advantageous.

Working Conditions
- In office role with potential travel opportunities
- Monday – Thursday 08h00 – 16h00
Friday – 08h00 – 15h00
- Some extended hours for in practice/salon events or promotions.
