Technicians/Artisans/Milwrights required. Candidates MUST stay in or around Queensburgh, Durban

A leading dairy manufacturing production plant based in Queensburgh, Durban is currently seeking experienced Technicians, Artisans, and Millwrights to join their maintenance and production support teams.
About the Role
The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and maintenance of production equipment across multiple plant areas. While there is a strong demand within the processing plant, opportunities are available across various departments.
Key Equipment & Systems
Candidates should have experience working with, or exposure to, the following:
- Tetra Pak systems
- GEA equipment
- REDA systems
- General processing equipment including:
- Pumps
- Valves
- Pipelines and associated components
- Maintenance,troubleshooting and repair of food processing equipment
- Preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery
- Ensuring maximum equipemtn uptime and operational efficiency
- Complaince with safety and quality standards within the plant.
- Experience in Tetra Top fillers, rotary fillers both contact and non contact, linear fillers and Tetra Pak UHT fillers
Minimum Requirements
Relevant technical qualification (e.g., Trade Test: Millwright, Electrician, Fitter, etc.)
- Experience working on food processing machinery with a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechnical and/or electrical maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and within a team enivronment
- Willingness to work shifts,including nights shifts and weekends.
- Artisans with experience in processed cheese lines
Experience Levels Required
10 years relevant experience
Competitive hourly rates ranging from R150 to R240 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
Succesful candidates will be placed on a 4 to 6 months contract with the posiibility of permanent employment at the end of the period.
