We’re hiring a Software Engineer to build and evolve our C# / .NET products (ASP.NET and Blazor) on Azure. This is an AI-native role: we expect you to be fluent with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) as a daily tool for writing, reviewing, and refactoring code, and to have a pragmatic view on when to trust AI output and when to verify it. You’ll own features end-to-end, contribute to design discussions, and help raise the quality bar for the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and ship features in ASP.NET and Blazor on Azure
  • Own your tickets in Azure DevOps or Jira from refinement through deployment
  • Use AI coding assistants to increase throughput — while applying judgement to verify, secure, and test the output
  • Contribute to and extend CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
  • Participate actively in code review, giving and receiving clear, technical feedback
  • Investigate production issues and contribute to root cause analysis
  • Help shape AI-enabled features in our products (copilots, summarisation, retrieval, etc.) where applicable

Core Technical

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Deep C# / .NET (including .NET Core /.NET 4.5 / .NET 8+)
  • ASP.NET (including ASPX) and Blazor in production
  • WPF with C#.NET
  • XAML with MVVM Architecture
  • SAP Crystal Reports
  • Component One Active Reports
  • DevExpress Controls
  • SQL Server or equivalent relational experienceAzure services (App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, SQL, etc.)
  • Daily, competent use of at least one AI coding assistant in real delivery work

Methodologies & Mindset

  • Strong Agile / SDLC understanding
  • Confident in Azure DevOps or Jira for backlog, boards, and pipelines
  • Interest in or experience with microservices and event-driven patterns
  • Critical eye on AI-generated code — knows when to trust it, when to test it, and when to throw it away

Collaboration & Communication

  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective in code review
  • Comfortable explaining trade-offs to non-engineers
  • Problem-solving, pragmatic mindset

Bonus Skills

  • JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or Angular
  • RESTful API design and versioning
  • Experience integrating LLMs via Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, or similar
  • Familiarity with RAG, vector stores, embeddings, or prompt engineering
  • Exposure to containers (Docker, AKS)
